Behind the Brew: How Tea Time with B & Kit Came to Life

Every meaningful space starts with a conversation—and Tea Time with B & Kit began the same way.

Before the podcast, before the microphones, before the idea of “Tea Time,” there were just two women crossing paths, slowly realizing that the conversations they were having felt different. What started as casual check-ins, shared life updates, and long talks over tea turned into something deeper—honest, reflective, and grounding in a way that felt rare.

We didn’t meet with the intention of building a podcast. We met as two people navigating life, growth, relationships, and big questions—finding comfort in talking things through together. Over time, those conversations became a safe space. A place where we could laugh, vent, unpack hard truths, and say the things we didn’t always feel comfortable saying out loud elsewhere.

Why Tea Time Was Created

At some point, we realized we couldn’t be the only ones craving this kind of space.

We wanted to create something that felt like sitting at the table with friends—where nothing is too polished, too perfect, or too “buttoned up” to talk about. A space where real life is welcome, vulnerability isn’t rushed, and conversations don’t need to be wrapped up neatly.

Tea Time was born from the belief that connection happens when we slow down and speak honestly.

Friendship, Growth, and Real Talk

Our friendship grew alongside the podcast. We’ve evolved on and off the mic, sometimes figuring things out in real time. Tea Time isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about asking the questions, sharing perspective, and holding space for growth as it happens.

Some episodes are light and funny. Others are deep and reflective. All of them are real.

What Tea Time Means to Us

Tea Time is community.
It’s connection.
It’s a reminder that you’re not alone in what you’re feeling—even when it feels personal, messy, or hard to explain.

This space exists because honest conversations matter.

Tea Time Truth:
Sometimes the most powerful conversations happen when you stop trying to be perfect.
